In 1881, Humphrey W. Griffiths, a 26-year-old widower, lived in London House. He was a tailor and employed 2 tailors. Later, Adam Hughes’ father had a butcher shop here. He carried goods and coal to Pwllheli with a horse and cart. He carried passengers on Wednesdays and Saturdays.


At one time, Adam Hughes’ father had a butcher’s shop in London House.
