Plas

It is said that Plas was a tavern, like the Fic – the Victoria Inn. The cellar was still there in the old days, under the present building. Later, Margiad Plas used to sell milk, and the villagers used to go there with their pitchers. In 1841, Thomas Jones lived in Plas. He was a tailor.


According to Dewi Williams, Brynmor, Plas was an Inn, similar to the Fic – y Victoria Inn, at one time. Lois Elis remembers the old cellar under the old Plas. According to Lois and Gwyn Elis, Margiad Plas used to sell milk from Plas and the villagers used to go there with their pitchers.
