Moss’ Shop
Moss’ shop used to be opposite Llys Ifan. In the 1930s a cobbler came to work here, although not every day, from the Clynnog area. In the nineteenth century, there used to be a fulling mill around here, between Abergafran and the alms houses, Tanyffordd. A blacksmith worked in Abergafran. The village’s Methodist movement was established in Abergafran. In the early years of the Sunday school, Morris Jones, yr Aber, used to keep the children in order with his stick.
